GS1 Australia’s Recall Health is a whole-of-industry solution developed in consultation with government agencies and state-based health authorities. A national online system, it is an integral component of the Australian Government’s Digital Health Supply Chain reform.

Recall Health shares the most up-to-date product recall information with all involved stakeholders in real time. This ensures high levels of efficiency and patient safety are maintained.

Organisations who use the system to communicate their recall notifications exceed the minimum requirements of the TGA’s Uniform Recall Procedure for Therapeutic Goods (URPTG). Medical technology companies, pharmaceutical suppliers and state government health departments have subscribed to the Recall Health portal as a reliable and efficient method for conducting product recalls and withdrawals.
