ZCON i-GlucoPal provides a convenient, blood-free means of monitoring blood sugar levels.
Rather than regularly prick their fingers to test blood sugar levels, diabetics can slide their finger into i-GlucoPal and it will measure their blood sugar within 1 min, using metabolic heat exchange. At 88.5% accuracy, the monitor meets FDA accuracy requirements for self-monitoring blood glucose test systems.
The monitor connects directly to an app on the patient’s phone via Wi-Fi, and measurements are automatically uploaded to the cloud where patients can track trends in their sugar levels. The app also provides reminders to take medications or measurements.
The monitor can track blood sugar levels for up to 10 people, each with their own account.
The monitor has passed the NCC standard. It is designed for home use, rather than in a hospital or surgery.
