Compliant with the IEC 60601-1 Ed. 3.1 standard for medical devices and IP65 rated for dust and water resistance, the AIM-58 tablet is purpose-built for medical and healthcare applications. The device is powered by a high-performance Intel Atom x5-Z8750 processor that supports both Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Android 6.0 operating systems for flexible configuration. Embedded Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE technologies facilitate high-speed data transfers, GPS asset tracking and real-time communication with back-end control systems designed for reliable mobile computing.

In addition to the standard I/O, including 1 DC jack, 2 USB 3.0, 1 COM and 1 LAN, the AIM-58 has 2 extension ports. Diverse peripheral modules such as a VESA station, VESA mount dock, 1D/2D 20°/70° barcode scanner, smart card reader and LAN+COM module can be equipped to extend the system functionalities for specific usage requirements. With front and rear cameras (2 + 5 + 13 MP), touch and stylus input support, and NFC and RFID technology, data collection is streamlined, enabling more efficient patient identification checks for enhanced management processes.
