Jeans for Genes Day is this Friday!
Monday, 29 July, 2013
Make sure you have your denim washed and ready for Jeans for Genes Day this Friday, 2 August.
This is the 20th year the Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) has used this national awareness campaign to raise funds for its important research programs. With one in 20 Aussie kids born with a birth defect or genetic disease, the work of the CMRI is vital. It's the leading medical research facility for investigating and unlocking the mysteries of childhood disease, and has made massive in-roads to finding cures to some of these debilitating genetic diseases. To continue this important research the CMRI relies heavily on public donations from the Jeans for Genes campaign.
So, tell your friends about this campaign, wear your jeans to raise awareness, and give generously by buying a Jeans for Genes Day product at any supporting retailer or donating online. Find out more at http://www.jeansforgenes.org.au/
