Telstra Health appoints Farhoud Salimi as CTO
Farhoud Salimi will join the Telstra Health executive as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer.
Salimi joins Telstra Health from eHealth NSW where he held the position of Executive Director, Service Delivery (CTO).
Telstra Health’s Managing Director Elizabeth Koff AM said, “We are delighted to be able to appoint a CTO of Farhoud’s calibre at an important time in our growth and international expansion.
“Farhoud brings a unique set of skills that will enhance our ability to deliver for our customers and continue to build a safe and reliable ecosystem across the Telstra Health group.”
Salimi has a career spanning over 20 years with local and global experience both in private and public sectors. He has exceptional people leadership and technical experience and has been recognised and referenced extensively in IT forums.
Salimi and his team were recognised at the 2021 NSW Premiers awards for the Mass Vaccinations Systems rollout in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, Salimi has been recognised by CIO Magazine, as part of the CIO50 2022 Awards, as one of Australia’s most innovative CIOs for his contribution to the NSW Health digital journey.
Salimi commences with Telstra Health from 17 April.
