Nominations open for 2025 National Palliative Care Awards
Palliative Care Australia (PCA) has announced that nominations are now open for the 2025 National Palliative Care Awards.
The biennial awards recognise excellence, innovation and leadership in Australia’s palliative care sector and are an opportunity to celebrate the individuals, teams and organisations whose compassionate care and support to people at the end of life goes above and beyond.
2025 categories include:
- emerging leader;
- emerging researcher;
- outstanding work by a team in delivering palliative care;
- innovation in palliative care;
- outstanding achievement in volunteering;
- outstanding achievement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander palliative care;
- outstanding achievement by an individual in palliative care;
- lifetime achievement award.
“These awards are an important opportunity to recognise the dedicated people working every day to ensure Australians receive high-quality, compassionate palliative care,” PCA CEO Camilla Rowland said.
