Crystawash wound wash is an isotonic saline spray buffered to return the tissue pH to normal.
It has been designed to facilitate a no-touch way of removing debris and dirt from the wound and to help keep the wound moist. The wound wash uses a nitrogen propellant delivery system to treat the area from a distance of 10–20 cm, eliminating the need to touch the wound.
It is claimed that wound healing is supported by this saline spray (isotonic) which mechanically removes foreign bodies and reduces pathogens, as well as blood, clot and dead tissue.
