The Alere DDS2 mobile test system is a handheld analyser for the rapid screening of drugs of abuse in oral fluid. The Alere DDS2 offers ease of use, accuracy and automation, removing subjectivity from result interpretation. The product performance has been independently verified by an AS4760:2006 accredited laboratory.
The Alere DDS2 stores up to 10,000 results on the unit and has data management capabilities for further archiving.
‘Dry mouth’ is a commonly reported difficulty in the harsh workplace testing environment of Australia and New Zealand. With a collection pad designed for active collection and a small sample volume, the product can reduce the impact of this problem.
