The Mack range of slip-resistant occupational footwear exceeds the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2210.5 requirements by 122%, according to the company. The Mack Traction Control range consists of five styles of safety and non-safety footwear for the breadth of applications in the healthcare, cleaning and hospitality markets.
The footwear includes a lightweight, slip-resistant, slip-on double gusset safety boot for workers that are exposed to slippery environments.
Designed to maximise grip from initial contact to toe-off, the shoes use the asymBEVEL and HYDROdynamic systems to maximise ground contact area and disperse fluid from the ground shoe interface throughout the gait cycle.
The tread pattern is based on foot loading patterns and hydrodynamics to optimise fluid dispersion from the shoe–ground interface, which is paramount to reducing slips.
