ACT Health Directorate signs SaaS deal with TechnologyOne
The ACT Health Directorate has awarded software-as-a-service provider TechnologyOne a four-year, $3.2 million contract to replace its on-premise inventory management system.
TechnologyOne will provide the directorate with an end-to-end enterprise SaaS solution incorporating prosthesis management, business intelligence and analytics.
The integrated solution will be designed to help the directorate improve user experience, simplify administration and enhance inventory processes.
ACT Health Directorate Acting CIO Sandra Cook said the TechnologyOne platform will assist with the tracking and usage of valuable health supplies.
“ACT Health develops strategies and sets the direction to ensure services meet community needs and expectations. Our goal is to ensure the health system is innovative, effective and sustainable now and in the future,” she said.
“ACT Health is looking forward to working collaboratively with TechnologyOne to improve supply chain processes for the Territory public health services.
TechnologyOne COO Stuart MacDonald added that the company won the contract because it is the only provider in the industry to offer a healthcare-specific solution capable of managing the full supply chain life cycle of all ACT hospitals.
“ACT Health recognised the benefit of our extensive experience with the healthcare sector and across all levels of government,” he said.
