MePACS Duress Alarm

The MePACS Duress Alarm is a 24/7 emergency response personal alarm service for lone workers monitored by trained professionals. The alarm is designed to support staff safety when working out in the community.

The MePACS Duress Alarm is a standalone device: users press one button if help is required and the MePACS emergency response team will respond within two minutes. The device has a two-way speaker for voice-to-voice communication so that the most appropriate help is sent out quickly. The device uses the 4G mobile network and a GPS locator to ensure assistance is provided at the correct location — with the operator staying on the line until help arrives. Other device features include low battery/poor mobile signal strength audio and visual indicators and falls detection.

MePACS works with many healthcare organisations who have employees that are often working alone and face risks with respect to occupational violence and medical emergencies. Devices can be shared amongst teams and staff can check in for added security and peace of mind.
